Plasterboard Worker


We are in need of a skilled Plasterboard Worker to join our team in Remish, offering a salary of 1500$. As a Plasterboard Worker, you will be responsible for installing and repairing plasterboard walls, ceilings, and partitions. You will also be required to handle various tools and equipment such as trowels, joint knives, and power saws.

To excel in this role, you must have prior experience working with plasterboard and possess strong knowledge of construction techniques. You should also have excellent hand-eye coordination, attention to detail and the ability to follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut plasterboard according to specifications
- Install plasterboard on walls, ceilings, and partitions
- Apply tape or joint compound to seal joints between boards
- Smooth out imperfections using trowels or joint knives
- Use power tools such as saws to shape plasterboard
- Repair or replace damaged plasterboard
- Follow safety procedures at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working with plasterboard
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time

Preference will be given to Malayalee candidates who are fluent in English. A biometric passport is also preferred.
