Preservation Architect
We are in search of a skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team in Sheduva. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for the design, planning, and execution of projects aimed at preserving historic buildings and structures. Your role will involve working closely with clients, contractors, and government agencies to ensure that preservation projects are completed according to guidelines and standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough assessments of historic buildings and structures
- Developing detailed preservation plans and proposals
- Obtaining necessary permits and approvals from relevant authorities
- Overseeing construction activities to ensure compliance with preservation standards
- Collaborating with clients to understand their needs and goals for the project
- Providing guidance on proper maintenance and repair techniques for historic buildings
- Managing project budgets and timelines
- Communicating effectively with all stakeholders involved in the project
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in preservation architecture or restoration projects
- Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and preservation guidelines
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
