Cashier (Indian Nationals)


Our reputable retail store in Doha is seeking a detail-oriented and customer service-driven Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for accurately processing transactions, handling cash, and providing exceptional service to our customers. This position is open to Indian nationals who have prior cashier experience, excellent communication skills in English, and possess a valid biometric passport. Accommodation will be provided for the successful candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
- Accept payments in cash, credit or debit cards, and issue receipts
- Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure accuracy
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Resolve customer complaints or escalate issues to the appropriate supervisor
- Upsell products by promoting current sales or specials
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, policies regarding payment methods, and security practices
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient store operations

Requirements:
- Indian national with a valid biometric passport (preferred)
- Proven work experience as a Cashier or in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills in English (both verbal and written)
- Basic math skills with the ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Customer service-driven with a friendly and approachable attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1400$ per month for this full-time position.

This role is based in Doha, Qatar.
