Indian Chef
We are seeking an experienced Indian Chef to join our team in Ashdod, Israel. As an Indian Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing authentic Indian dishes, as well as managing the kitchen staff and maintaining food quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and develop menus featuring a variety of traditional Indian dishes
- Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food safety procedures
- Monitor food inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and in working order
- Collaborate with management to develop new menu items or specials
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Indian Chef or similar role
- Knowledge of traditional Indian cuisine and spices is a must
- Ability to create unique dishes while also adhering to standard recipes and guidelines
- Excellent communication skills to effectively train kitchen staff
- Strong leadership skills to manage a team in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high food quality standards
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
