Turner for Machine Shop in Siauliai, Lithuania



We are seeking a highly skilled Turner to join our machine shop team in Siauliai, Lithuania. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machine tools to produce precision metal parts. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in the field and a passion for producing high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and drill presses
- Read blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings to determine dimensions and tolerances
- Select the appropriate cutting tools and materials for each job
- Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy of finished parts
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during production
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Turner in a machine shop setting
- Proficient in reading blueprints and engineering drawings
- Strong understanding of different machining techniques and materials
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines

Compensation:
We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month for this position. In addition, we provide free visa sponsorship and airfare for our employees.

Location:
This position is located in Siauliai, Lithuania. We welcome applicants of all nationalities but fluency in English is preferred.
