Preservation Architect


We are seeking a highly skilled and talented Preservation Architect to join our team in Washington. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for the planning, design, and execution of restoration and preservation projects for historic buildings and structures.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough assessments of historic buildings to determine their current state and identifying necessary repairs or restoration work
- Developing detailed plans, designs, and specifications for preservation projects
- Collaborating with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure the preservation project is executed effectively
- Overseeing the construction process to ensure it adheres to the approved plans and specifications
- Conducting regular site visits to monitor progress and make necessary adjustments
- Researching historical documentation, materials, and techniques to ensure accuracy in preservation work
- Preparing reports on project progress, budget updates, and any issues that arise during the construction process

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in preservation architecture
- Strong understanding of historic building materials and techniques
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders
- Ability to conduct thorough research on historical buildings and structures

Salary: $1200 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Washington D.C., United States (candidates with Pakistani nationality preferred)
