Pastry Chef Assistant

As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will assist the head pastry chef in creating delicious and visually stunning pastries, desserts, and baked goods for our customers. Responsibilities:
- Assist the head pastry chef with daily preparation and production of pastries, desserts, and baked goods
- Follow recipes accurately and ensure high-quality standards are met
- Maintain a clean and organized work station at all times
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely execution of orders
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and maintain proper hygiene practices

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a pastry chef assistant or similar role in a professional kitchen setting
- Strong passion for the art of pastry making and knowledge of current industry trends
- Ability to follow recipes accurately with attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of kitchen equipment and techniques used in pastry making
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Salary: $1600 per month
