Pastry Chef - Atlanta, USA
We are seeking a skilled Pastry Chef to join our team in Atlanta. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and visually appealing pastries and desserts for our customers. You will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure that all pastries are of high quality and prepared according to our standards.
Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare a variety of pastries and desserts, including cakes, tarts, cookies, and more
- Develop new recipes and improve existing ones to keep up with current trends in the pastry industry
- Ensure that all ingredients are fresh and prepared in a timely manner
- Decorate pastries using different techniques to enhance their presentation
- Maintain inventory of pastry supplies and place orders when needed
- Train new pastry chefs on our recipes, techniques, and standards
- Adhere to food safety regulations at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Creative mindset with a passion for pastry making
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Degree or certification in culinary arts is preferred
Salary: 1800$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
