Seasonal Executive Chef in Washington for Egyptian Nationals
We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team for a seasonal position in Washington. As an Egyptian national, you will bring your unique culinary background and skills to our restaurant. Your main responsibility will be overseeing and managing the kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality dishes and efficient service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and create menus that reflect Egyptian cuisine and culture
- Source and select fresh, local ingredients for dishes
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring proper food handling and safety procedures are followed
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure excellent customer service
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting
- In-depth knowledge of Egyptian cuisine and cooking techniques
- Ability to lead, train, and manage a team effectively
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
This is a seasonal job for the duration of the summer season. English language skills are not required for this position. As this is a seasonal job, accommodation will not be provided. Candidates must have their own visa to work in the United States.
