Architecture Manager - Washington, Canada
We are currently searching for an experienced Architecture Manager to join our team in Washington. As the Architecture Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the architectural design process for our projects in Canada. This includes coordinating with clients, leading a team of architects, and ensuring the successful completion of projects within budget and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all architectural design projects in Canada, ensuring they meet high quality standards and are completed on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide innovative design solutions that meet their requirements.
- Lead a team of architects, providing guidance, direction, and support to ensure their professional growth and development.
- Develop project proposals, budgets, schedules, and timelines.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to design plans.
- Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications for accuracy and completeness.
- Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in technology, building codes, regulations, and best practices.
- Work closely with contractors, engineers, and other professionals involved in the construction process.
- Ensure compliance with all legal requirements related to architectural design.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an architect or architecture manager.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple architectural projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team towards achieving common goals.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, team members, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of architectural design principles, building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD or Revit.
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices is an asset.
