Back-End Developer


Our fast-growing tech startup in Atlanta is seeking a talented Back-End Developer to join our team. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining the server-side of our web and mobile applications. This is a contract position with the possibility of extension, and we are open to candidates of any nationality.

Responsibilities:
- Design, code, and test server-side applications
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Ensure security and data protection measures are implemented
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in back-end development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven work experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby on Rails
- Experience with database management systems (SQL, MongoDB)
- Familiarity with front-end languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum)
- Familiarity with DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins)
- Previous experience working in a startup environment

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1800 per month for this contract position. Visa sponsorship may also be provided for candidates who require it.

Location:
This position is located in Atlanta but can be done remotely if preferred.
