Executive Chef
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Dubai. As an Indian restaurant, we are looking for a chef who is well-versed in Indian cuisine and has a strong understanding of traditional cooking methods and flavors. The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of experience working as an Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel.
Responsibilities:
- Create and develop new menus, incorporating traditional Indian dishes with a modern twist
- Oversee and manage all kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food production and presentation
- Train and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring consistency in food preparation and presentation
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies, ingredients, and equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to all health and safety standards
- Collaborate with management to develop pricing strategies for menu items
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel
- Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine, including regional dishes from different parts of India
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage kitchen staff
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
