Interpreter (English-Pakistani/African)


We are in need of an experienced Interpreter to join our team in Sheduva. As an interpreter, you will be responsible for facilitating communication between English-speaking individuals and those who speak Pakistani or African languages. This role requires fluency in both English and the respective language, as well as a deep understanding of cultural differences and sensitivities.

Responsibilities:
- Interpret conversations, meetings, and events between English and Pakistani/African speakers
- Ensure accurate translation and convey tone, context, and cultural nuances
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality in all interactions
- Assist with written translation as needed
- Act as a cultural liaison and provide guidance on appropriate behavior or customs
- Research terminology to ensure accurate interpretation of technical or specialized topics

Requirements:
- Fluency in both English and the respective language (Pakistani or African)
- Proven experience as an interpreter, preferably in a professional setting
- Knowledge of cultural differences and sensitivities
- Excellent communication skills in both languages, including listening and speaking abilities
- Strong memory retention to accurately interpret spoken words
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to different speaking styles or accents

Salary:
This position offers a salary of $1400 per month.
