Interpreter for English-Malayalee Language
Location: Sheduva, Canada


We are seeking an experienced interpreter to provide language assistance and facilitate communication between English and Malayalee speakers. This position is located in Sheduva, Canada, and we are looking for candidates who are fluent in both languages and have experience in interpretation.

As an interpreter, you will be responsible for accurately translating spoken words from one language to another in real-time. This role requires excellent communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to think quickly and maintain composure in high-pressure situations.

Key responsibilities:
- Provide interpretation services for English and Malayalee speakers in various settings such as business meetings, conferences, medical appointments, legal proceedings, etc.
- Act as a liaison between the two parties to ensure effective communication.
- Facilitate understanding by accurately conveying the meaning of spoken words without omitting or adding any information.
- Maintain confidentiality and neutrality at all times.
- Research and familiarize yourself with specialized vocabulary related to different industries or topics.
- Take notes during the conversation if necessary and provide a summary of key points at the end of each session.
- Work with a team of interpreters to ensure coverage for longer assignments or multiple languages.

Requirements:
- Native or near-native proficiency in both English and Malayalee languages.
- Proven experience as an interpreter in a professional setting.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in both languages.
- Strong knowledge of cultural differences between English and Malayalee speakers.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt quickly to changing environments.
- Familiarity with industry-specific terminology is highly preferred.
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Salary:
We offer a salary of $1600 per month for this full-time position.
