Executive Chef – Indian Cuisine
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our Indian cuisine kitchen in Ar Rumaythiyah, Saudi Arabia. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and create authentic Indian cuisine menus that incorporate traditional and modern cooking techniques
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of all dishes to ensure high quality and consistency
- Train and manage kitchen staff to maintain cleanliness, hygiene standards, and efficient work practices
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Create schedules and delegate tasks to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
- Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing food safety regulations and proper handling of equipment
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop promotional events or special menus
- Manage food costs by implementing cost-saving measures without compromising on quality
- Stay up-to-date with current food trends, techniques, and ingredients in Indian cuisine
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant with a focus on Indian cuisine
- Proven track record in creating innovative menus while maintaining traditional flavors
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques used in Indian cuisine
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Malayalam or Nepali is a plus)
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts is preferred
Salary:
1200$ per month
