Radio Technician


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Radio Technician to join our team in Nakuru, Kenya. As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of radio equipment and systems. This is a contract job with a salary of $1300 per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot radio equipment and systems
- Conduct regular inspections and repairs to ensure proper functioning
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues with radio equipment
- Install new radio systems and upgrade existing ones
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, calibration, and testing
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies and advancements in the field of radio technology

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Radio Technician or similar role
- Knowledge of radio equipment and systems
- Familiarity with electronic components and their functions
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Valid driver's license

Preferred:
- Diploma or degree in Electronics or related field
- Experience working with different types of radios (VHF, UHF, HF)
