Senior Construction Manager (Nakuru, Kenya)
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Construction Manager to oversee and manage construction projects in Nakuru, Kenya. As the Senior Construction Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of construction professionals and ensuring the successful completion of projects within budget and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and oversee all construction activities from start to finish
- Supervise and manage construction team including contractors, subcontractors, and laborers
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to quality standards and safety regulations
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met
- Prepare project budgets and timelines, track expenses, and make adjustments as needed
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify any issues or delays and implement solutions
- Communicate with clients on project updates and address any concerns or issues that may arise
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 10 years experience as a Construction Manager in a similar role
- Strong project management skills with ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent leadership skills with ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Nakuru, Kenya
Salary:
This is a contract position with a salary of 1100 USD per month.
