Construction Manager in Nakuru
We are in search of a skilled and experienced Construction Manager to oversee and manage projects in Nakuru, Kenya. As the Construction Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Your main duties will include obtaining necessary permits, managing budgets and schedules, hiring contractors and subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and be able to lead a team effectively. This position offers a competitive salary of 1700$ per month with accommodation provided.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of construction projects
- Prepare budgets and schedules for each project
- Obtain necessary permits and licenses
- Hire contractors and subcontractors as needed
- Ensure project quality control measures are being followed
- Monitor progress of construction sites to ensure they are on schedule
- Communicate with clients about project updates
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Resolve any issues or delays that may arise during construction
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
- At least 3 years of experience as a Construction Manager or similar role
- Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from start to finish
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
Preferred:
- Experience working on construction projects in Nakuru or surrounding areas
- Fluency in English is preferred
