Entry-Level Power Engineer


A reputable power company in Malindi is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Entry-Level Power Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or individuals looking to start their career in the power industry.

As an Entry-Level Power Engineer, you will work closely with our senior engineers and contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of power systems. You will also be involved in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as they arise.

Responsibilities:

- Assist senior engineers with the design and development of power systems
- Conduct site visits to assess power system needs and make recommendations
- Aid in the installation and commissioning of new power systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to power systems
- Monitor system performance and make necessary adjustments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project completion
- Stay updated on industry advancements and incorporate new technologies into projects

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Strong understanding of power engineering principles, including circuit analysis, transformers, motors, and generators
- Knowledge of CAD software for schematic design
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Physical ability to conduct site visits as needed
