Surveyor - Land and Property Management

As a Surveyor for our land and property management team, you will play a vital role in analyzing and evaluating land and buildings to determine their value for various purposes. Your responsibilities will include conducting surveys, collecting data, creating maps and reports, and providing expert advice to clients. You will utilize your knowledge of land laws and regulations to ensure accurate measurements and compliance with all legal requirements. You must have excellent attention to detail and strong numerical skills to perform accurate calculations. This is a contract position with an urgent need for a qualified candidate. Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the contract. A biometric passport is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct surveys using various tools such as GPS, total stations, and levels
- Collect data on physical characteristics of land including boundaries, topography, soil composition, etc.
- Create maps using GIS software to accurately depict survey results
- Prepare reports outlining findings and recommendations based on survey data
- Provide expert advice to clients on land value, potential use of property, etc.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to land surveying
- Collaborate with other professionals in the field such as engineers and architects

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Surveyor
- Knowledge of land laws and regulations
- Strong numerical skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in using surveying tools such as GPS, total stations, etc.
- Experience with GIS software
- Good communication skills
