Network and Systems Administrator
Location: Kaunas, Lithuania


We are looking for a skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Kaunas. As the Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting our company's network and computer systems. Your main duties will include monitoring network performance, troubleshooting network issues, installing and configuring hardware and software, and ensuring data security. This is a full-time position that requires previous experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues
- Install and configure hardware and software, such as routers, switches, servers, operating systems, and applications
- Ensure data security by implementing firewalls, VPNs, and other security measures
- Manage user accounts, permissions, email accounts, and access levels
- Conduct regular system backups to ensure data recovery in case of emergencies
- Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve technical issues
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in networking technologies to suggest improvements for the company's network infrastructure

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Network or Systems Administrator or similar role
- Knowledge of networking protocols (e.g. TCP/IP), LAN/WAN environments, switches, routers, firewalls, etc.
- Experience with server administration (Windows/Linux)
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Experience with cloud computing services (AWS/Azure)
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware/software/network issues efficiently
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1800$ per month.
