Experienced Tiler in Vianden, Luxembourg

We are seeking an experienced Tiler to join our team in Vianden, Luxembourg. As a Tiler, you will be responsible for installing and repairing tiles on various surfaces including floors, walls, and ceilings. This is a full-time position with a salary of 900$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark surfaces to be tiled
- Cut and shape tiles to fit around obstacles and into corners
- Prepare surfaces by removing old tiles, grout, or adhesive
- Mix and apply mortar or adhesive using tools such as trowels or spacers
- Lay tiles in an even pattern and ensure they are properly aligned and level
- Fill gaps between tiles with grout and remove excess grout with a wet sponge
- Install tile edging or trim around edges to give a finished look
- Repair or replace cracked or damaged tiles

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Tiler
- Proficiency in using tiling tools such as saws, cutters, and levels
- Ability to read blueprints or design plans to determine tile layout
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods of time

Preferred qualifications:
- Certification or apprenticeship in tiling
- Experience working with different types of tile including ceramic, porcelain, marble, etc.
- Familiarity with tile installation techniques for different surfaces such as walls vs floors
