Housekeeping Supervisor


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the housekeeping operations at our hotel in Nairobi. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1400 per month, with visa sponsorship available for qualified candidates. This role is ideal for Filipino nationals who are fluent in English and have experience in housekeeping management.

As the Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of all guest rooms and public areas within the hotel. This includes supervising a team of housekeeping staff, conducting inspections to ensure quality standards are met, and creating schedules for cleaning and maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise all housekeeping staff including room attendants, laundry attendants, and public area cleaners
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met
- Create schedules for daily cleaning tasks, deep cleaning projects, and routine maintenance tasks
- Train new housekeeping staff on proper cleaning procedures and hotel policies
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and place orders as needed
- Handle guest complaints or requests related to housekeeping services in a timely manner
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
- Maintain records of housekeeping expenses, staff attendance, and performance evaluations

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role in a hotel setting
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, chemical safety, and sanitation standards
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
