Moderator - Online Content Management (Los Angeles)


We are a fast-growing online content management company, seeking a skilled and dynamic Moderator to join our team in Los Angeles. As a Moderator, you will be responsible for monitoring and managing user-generated content on our various platforms, ensuring a positive and safe online experience for our diverse community of users. This is a contract position with the potential for full-time employment.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor user-generated content for appropriateness, accuracy, and adherence to community guidelines
- Take appropriate action to remove or edit any content that violates guidelines or company standards
- Engage with users in a professional and respectful manner to address any concerns or issues related to their content
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in content moderation
- Collaborate with other team members to continuously improve processes and policies related to content management

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or related field preferred
- Experience in online content moderation or management highly desired
- Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
- Familiarity with social media platforms and their respective community guidelines
- Knowledge of copyright laws and intellectual property rights is a plus

Salary:
This is an entry-level position with a starting salary of $1100 per month. Salary will be reviewed after 3 months based on performance.

Our office is located in the vibrant city of Los Angeles, known for its diverse culture, beautiful beaches, and endless entertainment options. This position is open to all nationalities but preference will be given to candidates who are currently authorized to work in the United States.
