Land Surveyor - Malindi, Kenya
We are currently seeking a skilled Land Surveyor to join our team in Malindi, Kenya. As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting accurate measurements and surveys of land to determine boundaries, establish property lines, and create maps and reports for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct surveys of land using specialized equipment such as GPS systems, total stations, and digital levels
- Analyze data collected from surveys to create detailed maps and reports
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and requirements
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to provide accurate data for construction projects
- Ensure that all survey work is completed accurately and efficiently within established timelines
- Maintain proper documentation of survey data and reports
- Utilize GIS software to analyze geographic data and create visual representations
- Adhere to all safety protocols while working on job sites
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying or related field
- At least 2 years of experience working as a Land Surveyor
- Proficiency in using specialized equipment such as GPS systems, total stations, and digital levels
- Knowledge of GIS software
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
We offer competitive salary of 1600$ per month along with accommodation, free visa, and ticket. This is a full-time position but part-time opportunities may be available for the right candidate.
