Land Surveyor (Nakuru, Kenya)
We are seeking a skilled Land Surveyor to join our team in Nakuru, Kenya. As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys and mapping the land for various development projects. You will work closely with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure accurate and precise measurements are taken.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct surveys using specialized equipment such as GPS, total stations, and laser scanners
- Create maps and drawings of the land using computer programs
- Analyze data from surveys to create topographic maps and determine property boundaries
- Prepare reports and present findings to clients and project teams
- Work with construction teams to ensure accurate placement of structures on the land
- Maintain survey equipment and perform regular calibrations
- Adhere to safety protocols while working on survey sites
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Land Surveyor
- Proficiency in using surveying equipment and software
- Strong knowledge of land surveying techniques, laws, and regulations
- Excellent mathematical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Good communication skills to work effectively with team members and clients
Salary:
The salary for this position is 1300 USD per month.
