Job Title: Junior Accountant


We are a growing accounting firm located in Atlanta, seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting senior accountants with financial tasks, maintaining records, and preparing financial reports for our clients. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals with limited experience looking to gain valuable skills and advance their accounting career.

Responsibilities:
- Assist senior accountants with day-to-day financial tasks
- Prepare and maintain financial records for clients
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents
- Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports
- Enter financial data into accounting software
- Ensure accurate and timely payments to vendors and employees
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding any financial inquiries or concerns

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (or currently pursuing)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Quickbooks, SAP, etc.)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles preferred but not required

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is 1700$ per month.
