Typesetter

A publishing company in Moscow is seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our team. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for designing and formatting text and images for print and digital publications. This role requires attention to detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:

- Format and layout text and images using desktop publishing software
- Ensure consistency in design, font styles, and spacing
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and other team members to meet project goals
- Edit and proofread content for accuracy and formatting errors
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to typesetting software
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in typesetting technology

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a Typesetter or in a similar role
- Proficiency in desktop publishing software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Strong eye for detail and ability to spot errors in text or image placement
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with others
- Understanding of printing processes and file preparation for print production

Salary: $1500 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Moscow, Russia (open to candidates of all nationalities)
