Indian Cuisine Chef
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Indian Cuisine Chef to join our team in Malindi! As a chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing authentic Indian dishes, ensuring that they are of the highest quality and meet the standards of our restaurant. You will also be responsible for maintaining inventory, managing food costs, and training kitchen staff.
Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare a variety of authentic Indian dishes
- Ensure that all dishes meet the standards of our restaurant
- Maintain inventory and manage food costs
- Train kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and recipes
- Keep work area clean and organized according to food safety guidelines
- Collaborate with other chefs on menu planning and special events
- Follow all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Indian Cuisine Chef
- Extensive knowledge of Indian spices, ingredients, and cooking techniques
- Ability to create new dishes while maintaining authenticity
- Experience with inventory management and cost control
- Strong leadership skills to train kitchen staff effectively
- Knowledge of food safety guidelines and regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1800$ per month.

This job is located in Malindi, Kenya. Malayalee nationality preferred.
