Livestock Specialist



We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Livestock Specialist to join our team in Abu Dhabi. As a Livestock Specialist, you will be responsible for the care and management of our livestock, ensuring their health and welfare. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1100$, open to Indian nationals with proficiency in English.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of our livestock farm, including feeding, breeding, and milking.
- Monitor the health of the animals and provide necessary medical care when needed.
- Manage herd records and maintain accurate documentation.
- Implement breeding programs to optimize production and quality of livestock.
- Ensure compliance with animal welfare standards and regulations.
- Train and supervise farm staff in proper animal handling techniques.
- Monitor feed inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery.
- Maintain clean and organized facilities for the comfort of the animals.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Veterinary Science, or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience working as a Livestock Specialist or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of animal husbandry practices, nutrition, breeding techniques, and disease prevention.
- Ability to handle large animals with care and compassion.
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively communicate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong leadership qualities and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Biometric passport for easy travel within UAE if required.
