Preservation Architect - Acre, Israel
We are in search of a skilled Preservation Architect to join our team in the beautiful city of Acre, Israel. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures while maintaining their original design and integrity. This position requires a strong understanding of architectural principles and history, as well as the ability to work with a variety of materials and techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research on the history, design, and construction techniques of historical buildings
- Develop plans for preserving and restoring these buildings while adhering to preservation standards
- Collaborate with other architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project success
- Monitor construction progress to ensure preservation guidelines are followed
- Oversee budgeting and scheduling for preservation projects
- Communicate with clients or stakeholders regarding project updates and decisions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in preservation architecture
- Strong knowledge of architectural history and preservation techniques
- Experience working with a variety of materials such as wood, stone, and metal
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
