Database Administrator


We are in search of a skilled Database Administrator to join our team in Sheduva. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our company's databases, ensuring they are secure, efficient, and reliable.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Install and configure database software
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
- Create and manage user accounts with appropriate permissions
- Ensure data security by setting up regular backups and implementing security protocols
- Develop and implement database standards and procedures
- Collaborate with other teams to design, build, and maintain databases for new projects
- Optimize database performance through indexing, query optimization, etc.
- Upgrade database software as needed
- Provide technical support to users regarding database-related issues

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proficient in SQL and other programming languages used for managing databases
- Experience with data backup, recovery, and security protocols
- Knowledge of database architecture principles
- Familiarity with cloud-based databases (e.g. AWS, Azure)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Preferred:
- Experience with Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server databases
- Certification in database administration (e.g. Oracle Certified Professional)

Salary: 1300$
City: Sheduva

This is a full-time position with the option for part-time work. We also offer visa sponsorship for international candidates. Accommodation can be provided if needed.
