Database Administrator (Part-time, Visa sponsorship available)

We are a growing company based in Sheduva, India seeking a Database Administrator to join our team. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our company's databases while ensuring their security and integrity. This is a part-time position with the option for visa sponsorship for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement database systems based on company needs
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Ensure data security and integrity by implementing proper backup and recovery procedures
- Collaborate with other team members to gather requirements for new database features
- Develop and maintain database documentation, including data standards, procedures, and definitions
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in database management
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- At least 2 years of experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of database management systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL
- Experience with backup and recovery procedures
- Knowledge of data security principles and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working with cloud-based databases (e.g. AWS or Azure)
- Familiarity with programming languages such as SQL, Python, or Java
- Experience working in an Agile environment
