Concierge for Luxury Resort in Mombasa



We are in search of a dynamic and customer-oriented Concierge to join our team at a luxury resort in Mombasa. As the first point of contact for guests, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and creating a memorable experience for each guest. Your strong communication skills and attention to detail will ensure that all guest requests are handled efficiently and promptly. You will also be responsible for coordinating with various departments to ensure all guest needs are met.

Responsibilities:
- Greet guests upon arrival and assist with check-in process
- Provide information on hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
- Make reservations for guests at restaurants, spa, or other activities
- Arrange transportation and tours for guests
- Handle guest complaints or concerns in a professional manner
- Maintain a high level of knowledge about the local area to assist guests with recommendations and directions
- Handle requests for special amenities or services such as room upgrades, special occasion arrangements, etc.
- Coordinate with housekeeping department to ensure timely delivery of requested items such as extra pillows, towels, etc.
- Communicate any VIP arrivals or special requests to relevant departments
- Keep accurate records of guest interactions and requests

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult situations calmly
- Knowledge of local area attractions and events is preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
