Junior Information Security Analyst in Utena, Philippines


As a Junior Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and protection of our company's information systems and data. This is an entry-level position suitable for Filipinos who are fluent in English and have a passion for information security. No prior experience is required, but training and guidance will be provided to develop your skills.

Main Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze our company's computer networks, systems, and applications for any potential security breaches or vulnerabilities
- Perform regular security audits to identify risks and recommend solutions
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, including malware infections, unauthorized access attempts, and data breaches
- Collaborate with other teams to implement security measures and protocols in new systems or infrastructure
- Stay updated on the latest security threats, trends, and best practices to recommend improvements in our company's security policies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field (preferred)
- Knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), encryption technologies, and other security tools
- Familiarity with vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus or Nmap
- Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows/Linux), databases (SQL/Oracle), and web technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript)
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify potential risks and recommend solutions
- Strong communication skills in English both written and verbal
- Must be willing to work in Utena with provided accommodation
