Mason - Experienced in Brick and Stone Work



Our busy masonry company in Washington is seeking an experienced Mason to join our team. As a Mason, you will be responsible for completing various brick and stone work projects in a timely and efficient manner. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work well with a team.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mason, preferably in brick and stone work
- Must have experience working with different types of materials such as bricks, stones, and concrete blocks
- Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience working on residential and commercial projects is preferred
- Must have your own tools and reliable transportation to job sites

Responsibilities:
- Lay out patterns or foundations using measuring tools such as levels, rulers, or chalk lines
- Mix mortar or grout according to specifications
- Cut or trim bricks or blocks to specific sizes using hand tools or saws
- Lay bricks or stones according to established patterns or designs
- Use trowels or other tools to spread mortar onto surfaces evenly
- Smooth out excess mortar using hand tools such as trowels or scrapers
- Clean up job site at the end of each day, ensuring all equipment is properly stored

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1700 per month for this full-time position.

Location:
This position is located in Washington but we welcome all applicants who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
