Instrument Technician - Medina, Saudi Arabia
The Instrument Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of instruments and control systems in our client's facilities located in Medina, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position with a starting salary of $1400 per month.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on control systems and instruments to ensure proper functioning
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instruments and control systems
- Repair or replace faulty components as needed
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and make necessary adjustments
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to improve equipment performance and efficiency
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, technical degree preferred
- Prior experience as an instrument technician or similar role
- Knowledge of electrical and electronic systems
- Familiarity with various types of instruments such as pressure gauges, temperature sensors, flow meters, etc.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team environment
Preferred:
- Prior experience working in the oil & gas industry or related field
- Experience with process control systems such as DCS, PLC, SCADA, etc.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as C++, Java, etc.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
- Valid driver's license
