Land Surveyor

The land surveyor will be responsible for accurately measuring and mapping land areas, boundaries, and features using specialized equipment and software. The ideal candidate will have strong math and spatial skills, as well as excellent attention to detail. This is a full-time position based in Bungoma, Kenya.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting field surveys to determine precise locations, elevations, and boundaries of land features
- Using surveying instruments such as GPS, total stations, and levels to collect data
- Analyzing data using specialized software to create maps and reports
- Keeping accurate records of survey data and preparing reports for clients or government agencies
- Collaborating with engineers, architects, and other professionals on construction projects to ensure accurate placement of structures
- Ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations related to land surveying
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in land surveying or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in land surveying or a similar role
- Proficiency in using surveying equipment and software
- Strong math skills and ability to accurately interpret measurements
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Familiarity with local laws and regulations related to land surveying (preferred)
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary package of 1700$ per month.
Note: This position is open to candidates of any nationality. However, preference will be given to Indian nationals who are fluent in English.
