Construction Manager - Nepal
A reputable construction company in Eldoret is seeking an experienced Construction Manager from Nepal to oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role. English proficiency is not required for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all construction activities on site
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Develop project schedules and ensure timely completion within budget
- Oversee the quality of work and ensure adherence to safety standards
- Communicate progress updates to stakeholders including clients, architects, and engineers
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction
- Monitor project expenses and make necessary adjustments
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with plans and specifications
- Maintain records of project progress, expenses, and materials used
- Ensure that all necessary permits and approvals are obtained
Requirements:
- Nepali national with a valid passport
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Construction Manager or similar role
- Ability to lead a team effectively and communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficiency in relevant software such as Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends when necessary
