Welder - Contract Position in Atlanta, USA

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team on a contract basis in Atlanta. As a Welder, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components according to specifications and blueprints. This is a contract position with no accommodation provided, so we are looking for someone who is already based in Atlanta or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications
- Measure and mark cutting lines on metal materials
- Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal parts together
- Ensure welds meet standards and specifications
- Inspect completed welds for defects
- Maintain welding equipment and work area in a clean and organized manner
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Welder
- Proficient in MIG/TIG welding techniques
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and technical manuals
- Familiarity with different types of welding equipment/tools
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must have own transportation as there is no accommodation provided
