Entry Level Carpenter - Nakuru, Kenya

A reputable construction company in Nakuru is seeking an Entry Level Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for building and repairing structures, installing fixtures and fittings, and ensuring the quality and safety of our projects. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1000$ per month.

Requirements:
- Must be an African national currently living in Nakuru or willing to relocate
- No prior experience is required as training will be provided
- Must have good physical stamina and be able to work in various weather conditions
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings is preferred
- Basic knowledge of carpentry tools and equipment is a plus

Responsibilities:
- Cut, shape, and join wood pieces according to specifications using hand and power tools
- Install structures such as windows, doors, cabinets, or staircases as per project requirements
- Repair or replace damaged framework or other structures
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using ruler, pencil, chalk, or marking gauge
- Follow safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment
