A construction company in Nakuru is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in carpentry and woodworking, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently. This is a full-time position with visa sponsorship available for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities:
- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge
- Follow blueprints and building plans to meet project specifications
- Install structures or fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, trim or hardware using carpenter's hand or power tools
- Shape or cut materials to specific measurements using hand tools or machines
- Inspect work progress to ensure quality standards are met
- May collaborate with other tradespeople such as electricians or plumbers on construction projects

Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Carpenter or similar role
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and tools
- Ability to read blueprints and follow building plans
- Good math skills for measuring materials accurately
- Physical stamina for standing, kneeling and lifting heavy materials
- Attention to detail for precision in measurements and cuts
- Excellent time management skills for meeting project deadlines

Salary: 900$ per month

This job is open to candidates from India and Nepal who are interested in working in Nakuru. No English proficiency is required for this position.
