We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Librarian Assistant in Las Vegas. As a Librarian Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the organization and accessibility of our library's resources.

Responsibilities:
- Assist patrons with locating materials and navigating the library's online catalog system
- Check in and out books and other library materials
- Shelve returned items in their proper locations
- Process new materials by stamping, labeling, and adding them to the catalog system
- Maintain the cleanliness and order of the library space
- Assist with library programs and events, such as story time or guest speaker presentations
- Help patrons use computers, printers, and other technology available at the library
- Answer phone calls and provide basic information about library services

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Library Science preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people
- Knowledge of library systems and online catalog systems preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Salary:
This is a contract position with a salary of $1700 per month.
