Head Chef - Mediterranean Cuisine

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Chef to lead our team in creating delicious and authentic Mediterranean cuisine. Our restaurant, located in Medina, is known for its high-quality food and exceptional service. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and inventory management. You should have a deep understanding of Mediterranean flavors and techniques, as well as strong leadership skills to effectively manage and train our kitchen staff.

Responsibilities:
- Create and update menus that showcase the best of Mediterranean cuisine while also taking into account seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- Oversee all food preparation processes to ensure quality standards are met
- Train and manage kitchen staff, including scheduling shifts, delegating tasks, and providing feedback
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen space that complies with sanitation regulations
- Collaborate with management to develop new dishes or promotions to attract customers
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques or ingredients into menu offerings

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant specializing in Mediterranean cuisine
- Knowledge of traditional Mediterranean cooking methods and ingredients such as olive oil, seafood, herbs, and spices
- Ability to lead a team effectively with strong communication skills
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of food cost control measures
- Creativity in developing new dishes while also maintaining consistency with existing menu items

Qualifications:
- Degree or certification from a culinary school is preferred but not required
- At least 5 years of experience working as a chef in a professional kitchen
- Fluent English language skills
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
