Indian Chef


We are seeking an experienced Indian Chef to join our team in Kaunas, Lithuania. As an Indian Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing authentic Indian dishes for our restaurant. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1600$. Preference will be given to candidates of Indian nationality.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of traditional Indian dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure food quality and presentation meets our restaurant's standards
- Monitor food stock levels and place orders when necessary
- Train and supervise kitchen staff in proper food preparation techniques
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area at all times
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Indian Chef or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of traditional Indian cuisine and cooking methods
- Ability to create new, innovative dishes while staying true to the authenticity of the cuisine
- Strong leadership skills and ability to train and supervise kitchen staff effectively
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Must have strong communication skills in English
