Puncher - Metal Fabrication


We are a metal fabrication company located in Malindi, seeking experienced Puncher to join our team. As a Puncher, you will be responsible for operating various machines to punch holes, slots, and other shapes into metal sheets and plates according to engineering drawings. This position requires strong attention to detail, physical strength, and the ability to work with different types of metal.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate punch press machine according to specifications
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to determine punching requirements
- Inspect materials for quality and accuracy before beginning punching process
- Adjust machine settings as needed for different types of metal sheets
- Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as needed for precision
- Remove completed pieces from machine and inspect for accuracy
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Puncher in the metal fabrication industry
- Strong knowledge of punch press machine operation and maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
- Physical strength and dexterity to handle materials and operate heavy machinery
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy while working at a fast pace

Salary:
$1800 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location:
Malindi, Kenya (open to all nationalities)

Employment Type:
Full-time, own visa holders preferred.
