Smelter Operator

A leading mining company in Bungoma is seeking an experienced Smelter Operator to join their team. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $1000 per month. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a smelting facility and be able to work efficiently and independently. Accommodation will be provided for the successful candidate.

As a Smelter Operator, your primary responsibility will be to operate and maintain the smelting equipment in accordance with company procedures and safety regulations. You will be responsible for monitoring the smelting process, troubleshooting any issues that may arise, and ensuring that production targets are met.

Key responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain smelting equipment according to company procedures
- Monitor smelting process and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality control
- Troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during the smelting process
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations at all times
- Complete production reports accurately and in a timely manner
- Work closely with team members to achieve production targets

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a smelting facility
- Knowledge of smelting processes and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
- Experience troubleshooting technical issues
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Good communication skills in English
