Job Title: Information Security Analyst - Las Vegas

As an Information Security Analyst at our company in Las Vegas, your role will be crucial in maintaining the security and integrity of our information systems. You will be responsible for analyzing and identifying potential security threats, implementing security measures to protect against these threats, and monitoring systems for any suspicious activity.

Your main duties will include conducting vulnerability assessments, performing penetration testing, and developing strategies to mitigate potential risks. You will also need to stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies, and make recommendations for improvements to our current systems.

As part of your role, you will be expected to work closely with other IT professionals to ensure that security protocols are integrated into all aspects of our information systems. You may also be required to provide training and support for employees on best practices for data protection.

To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of network security protocols, firewalls, encryption methods, and other security tools. You must also have excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, as well as the ability to communicate complex technical information in simple terms.

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in computer science or a related field, along with relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM). Previous experience in information security is highly preferred.
