Fitter Technician

A reputable manufacturing company in Los Angeles is seeking a skilled and experienced Fitter Technician to join our team. As a Fitter Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various mechanical systems such as pipes, valves, pumps, and motors. You will also be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints, conducting inspections, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a fitter or in a similar role
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Good physical stamina and the ability to work in various environments
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Valid driver's license

Responsibilities:
- Install new mechanical systems according to blueprints and technical specifications
- Conduct regular maintenance on existing systems to ensure proper functioning
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise with mechanical systems
- Repair or replace damaged parts as needed
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Inspect equipment for potential issues or malfunctions
- Keep accurate records of work completed
- Work closely with other team members to complete projects efficiently
