Caregiver for Indian Elderly in Nakuru

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Caregiver to provide exceptional care for Indian elderly individuals living in Nakuru. As a caregiver, you will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation. You will also provide companionship and support to promote a comfortable and safe environment.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with elderly individuals and be familiar with Indian culture and customs. Fluency in Hindi or other Indian languages is preferred but not required. The ability to work independently as well as part of a team is essential. This is a part-time position with the potential for full-time hours in the future.

Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance to elderly clients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Engage in meaningful activities with clients to promote socialization and mental stimulation.
- Monitor medication schedules and assist with medication reminders.
- Accompany clients on outings or appointments as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client's condition to supervisor.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience working as a caregiver for elderly individuals.
- Familiarity with Indian culture and customs.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English; fluency in Hindi or other Indian languages is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- Must be able to pass a background check.

Salary: $1000/month (part-time)

Location: Nakuru, Kenya (Indian nationality preferred)
